thermal pools, helpful pool attendants, spacious double room
No potable water available after the welcome bottle!!! The absence of amenities like a tea kettle is surprising, especially with unreasonable charges for hot water!!! The rooms didn't resemble the photos online, which is quite disappointing.

pleasant stay with some room for improvement
The gardens were absolutely beautiful, creating a serene environment to unwind. We appreciated the attention to our dog, receiving poop bags, a comfy dog bed, and a water bowl. Breakfast was delightful and exceeded our expectations! ! The easy walk to downtown made exploring very convenient too.
However, some areas could benefit from better lighting.

Convenient location near coffee tables in the gardens allows for relaxed outdoor seating. The hot tubs provide a unique escape, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.
Lacked amenities beyond hot tubs, which might disappoint those expecting more. There seems to be an odd policy with charging for hot water, creating frustration when basic needs aren't met. I ended up questioning whether I’d be charged for breathing next. Additionally, breakfast hours were a hassle, with limited options and late service just when you want to get moving.

The ambiance of the hotel is lovely, tucked away from the busy streets of Panajachel. Enjoyed the hot springs and friendly staff. However, the WiFi was only available in the restaurant area, and the room could benefit from a few more amenities for added comfort.

Regis Hotel Spa is a gem! The lush gardens and thermal pools are straight-up paradise after a day of exploring. It's centrally located, making it easy to hit up local favorites like Almendros just down the road. Totally loved the chill vibe of the area.
However, the rooms could use a facelift—ours was kind of dated, and we were surprised to find it didn't have a microwave for our little one’s needs. Staff were well-meaning but had us feeling a bit stressed during mealtime prep.
